Linien, Schichten, Flächen, vergleichbar mit geologischen Formationen, Diagrammen, Schriftsystemen oder grafischer Notation.
Die im Buch gesammelten Drucke beruhen auf Collagen, die in den Jahren 2017-2021 entstanden sind. Ausgangsmaterialien sind Zeitschriften im Standartformat, die vertikal geschnitten wurden. Orientiert an der Technik des klassischen Filmschnitts wurde bewusst „vor“ der Handlung geschnitten: Individuelle Charakteristika, Aktion, Schrift, Zeichen sowie inhaltliche Informationen wurden ausgespart.
Im Entstehungsprozess der Montage treten die einzelnen vermeintlich neutralen Elemente in eine kaum vorhersehbare Interaktion. Aus der trivialen Schichtung einzelner Fragmente entstehen ästhetisch aufgeladene Konglomerate. Es bilden sich Systeme, die dem Betrachter eine Art „Lesbarkeit“ bzw. Rhythmik vortäuschen.
Die Verarbeitung über den Reproduktionsweg ist zum ursprünglichen Medium kohärent. Die Bildspuren werden über die Drucktechnick verdichtet, plakativ überdimensional vergrößert und bleiben umso mehr das, was sie sind:

The prints collected in this book are based on collages created between 2017 and 2021. The source materials are standard-format magazines that were cut vertically. Inspired by the technique of classic film editing, the cuts were deliberately made "before" the action: individual characteristics, action, writing, symbols, and content-related information were omitted.
In the creative process of montage, the individual, seemingly neutral elements enter into a barely predictable interaction. Aesthetically charged conglomerates emerge from the trivial layering of individual fragments. Systems emerge that create a kind of "legibility" or rhythm for the viewer.
The processing via the reproduction path is coherent with the original medium. The image traces are condensed through printing technology, magnified to a striking, oversized size, and remain all the more what they are: constructs born of media insignificance.
